Space Requirements:

For ceremonies, Carolina Brass requires 5 chairs (music stands will be provided by the ensemble) in a space of approximately 100 square feet (10 ft x 10 ft).

For cocktail hours/receptions or in a venue where percussion is desired (percussion parts are included in many works including all Broadway musical selections and most of the Dixieland/jazz works), enough additional space for a standard size drum set (approximately 25 square feet or 5ft x 5ft) is required.

Venue Requirements:

Carolina Brass can perform in any size venue from very small, intimate settings to large cathedrals/sanctuaries, banquet halls, or outdoor venues.  There is no need to worry that the group will “blow-out” the audience in a small setting or be unheard in large or open venues.

Working with other musicians:

It is not uncommon to have many different musicians perform throughout the wedding ceremony.  Some options include having the ensembles and/or organist take turns performing in different sections of the ceremony and during the prelude.  Carolina Brass is happy to do this or to perform the entire ceremony as you wish.

Note: Prices do not include the wedding rehearsal.  Music selections will be selected prior to the wedding day on which the group will arrive approximately 1 hour before the ceremony.  (Prelude music usually begins 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremony unless otherwise requested.)
